About the Location

The Red Sea is set to become a major luxury beach destination in the region, stretching across about 200 km of coastline on Saudi Arabia’s western coast between Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the central hub of the development, alongside a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail spaces, an 18-hole golf course, and more.

The destination is being developed with sustainability at its core, using marine spatial planning to help reduce environmental impact and limit over-tourism while still offering a premium travel and lifestyle experience. Renewable energy will power the area, and only a small portion of the islands will be developed, with large dedicated conservation zones protected. The resort will include around 149 rooms and suites with uninterrupted views of white-sand beaches and clear water, six restaurant and lounge venues, meeting and event spaces, a marine discovery centre, a Kids for All Seasons area, a full-service spa with hammam, tennis courts, three outdoor pools with cabanas, and two separate beaches for families and adults, offering both relaxation and water activities such as diving and coral reef exploration.

Role Overview

The Steward is responsible for keeping the kitchen and back-of-house areas clean, orderly, and hygienic. The role helps ensure that all utensils, equipment, and work areas meet the strict sanitation and service standards expected in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment in an efficient manner.
• Keep kitchen areas, storage sections, and waste disposal zones tidy and well organized.
• Store equipment and supplies properly and handle them with care.
• Support the kitchen team by making sure clean items are always available during service.
• Dispose of waste and manage recycling in line with hygiene and environmental practices.
• Consistently follow HACCP requirements and health and safety procedures.
• Provide help with basic kitchen duties whenever needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in stewarding or cleaning within hospitality is preferred.
• Working knowledge of sanitation and hygiene standards is needed.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
• Strong focus on cleanliness and attention to detail.
• A cooperative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
