Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming invoices, credit, and debit notes, ensuring accurate accounting entries and adherence to VAT and legal standards.
• Support efforts to unify and automate accounts payable processes across all company units.
• Assist in developing and updating comprehensive process documentation for accounts payable activities.
• Conduct analyses of discrepancies in pricing and quantities for received goods and services, coordinating necessary follow-ups with related departments.
• Manage travel and expense reimbursements according to company policies.
• Carry out weekly payment runs with precision and punctuality when required.
• Perform month-end and period-end accounts payable closing tasks, including GR/IR reconciliations and reclassification of creditors and debtors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• College degree in Business Administration or a comparable accounting credential and experience.
• Proven experience in international, cross-border collaborative environments.
• Hands-on accounting experience focused on accounts payable, with strong knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and VAT regulations.
• Familiarity with SAP FI and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ownership, and reliability in daily responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a cooperative, solution-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse teams with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Fluency in both English and Croatian is essential; proficiency in German is advantageous.
