About the Role

Sonsolite Retail is seeking a proficient Solar Expert Engineer based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, to take charge of designing, planning, and implementing rooftop solar projects. The candidate must demonstrate solid experience in solar system design, site surveys, and project execution, including expertise in PVsyst software.

Key Responsibilities

Create rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system designs utilizing PVsyst software.
Perform site surveys and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.
Develop system layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Determine system sizing, forecast energy generation, and conduct performance analysis.
Collaborate with installation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure that all work complies with MNRE and DISCOM regulations.
Diagnose and resolve technical challenges encountered during installation and commissioning phases.
Draft technical documents and proposals tailored to client requirements.
Offer technical assistance to sales and marketing departments.
Maintain high standards of project quality, safety, and documentation.

Eligibility and Requirements

Possess a B.Tech degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Have a minimum of two years' professional experience in the solar industry.
Mandatory proficiency in PVsyst software.
Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
Understanding of rooftop solar installations and net metering protocols.
Awareness of MNRE subsidy schemes and DISCOM procedures is a plus.
