Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for developing and delivering complex software products at scale.
• Engage in architectural decisions, review code, and perform technical trade-offs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Oversee Agile/Scrum development processes and utilize modern software tools including Jira, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain talented engineers fostering a productive and collaborative environment.
• Drive engineering efforts focused on digital experiences, customer-facing platforms, and omnichannel digital transformation initiatives, particularly relevant in financial services.
• Work with cloud-native platforms, microservices architectures, as well as resiliency engineering, observability, and designing high-availability systems.
• Implement API-driven, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures to support scalable digital capabilities.
• Incorporate modern web and mobile frameworks and understand customer engagement technologies to enhance product delivery.
• Leverage knowledge of contemporary data management, artificial intelligence, and automation tools to improve digital products and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or comparable practical experience.
• At least 10 years of practical experience in software engineering with proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
• Minimum of 3 years managing software engineering teams directly.
• Proven success in delivering complex software projects on schedule in large-scale environments.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical topics to diverse audiences.
