Position Overview

The Originals team specializes in producing acclaimed original content for various LADbible channels. We seek a talented Videographer to join the team, responsible for filming and editing short-form content related to popular shows such as Snack Wars, Agree To Disagree, and Honesty Box. If you are passionate about creating dynamic content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram, this role offers a chance to shape a fresh kind of content for LADbible's social presence.

Key Duties

• Independently film and edit original videos tailored for social media including TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube Shorts.
• Manage the full production cycle from concept planning to final editing and publishing.
• Create multiple versions of content customized for each platform's specific requirements.
• Assist in larger projects by producing supplementary social-first footage.
• Work collaboratively with various internal teams including the LAD360 commercial division.
• Identify new storytelling angles, align with trending topics, and ensure rapid content delivery.
• Craft polished edits featuring appropriate pacing, subtitles, graphics, sound design, and transitions to enhance audience engagement.
• Maintain high creativity and quality even when meeting tight deadlines.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Proven ability to shoot and edit engaging short-form social media videos.
• Background in producing original social content for personal channels or professional entities like publishers, brands, or agencies.
• Competent with professional video and audio recording equipment.
• Capable of independently overseeing shooting schedules from initial planning through to final delivery.
• Experience directing talent and content creators during shoots as necessary.
• Advanced editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro with strong storytelling sensibility.
• Familiarity with Motion Graphics or After Effects to produce native social overlays, titles, and subtitles using templates or custom designs.
• Deep understanding of social media content dynamics, including effective hooks, formats, and platform best practices.
• Ability to operate efficiently under pressure with a balance of scheduled and trend-driven content, occasionally working beyond standard hours.
• A collaborative approach comfortable with diverse teams and working environments.
• Interest or knowledge in applying AI technology to enhance production workflows.
