Social Intelligence Strategist - EMEA

About the Role

We are seeking a Social Intelligence Strategist based in London who can detect emerging cultural trends before they enter mainstream awareness. This role involves interpreting the reasons behind social conversations and translating social data into impactful creative guidance. You will have the unique opportunity to establish a social intelligence function from scratch within a globally renowned creative technology firm, influencing social content, influencer initiatives, and audience strategies across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Transforming social listening data, audience behaviors, and cultural trends into practical strategic insights.
• Spotting emerging social conversations, shifts in sentiment, potential risks, and opportunities across various social media platforms.
• Shaping content strategy, campaign development, and creative concepts with timely social intelligence.
• Collaborating closely with Social Strategy, Creative, Influencer, Community, and Measurement teams to ensure insights translate into actionable outcomes.
• Forging strong partnerships in a dynamic, fast-moving marketing environment.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Experience in roles such as Social Intelligence, Social Listening, Cultural Strategy, Consumer Insights, or Digital Strategy.
• Previous work within prominent social, digital, creative, or integrated agencies or social intelligence teams of notable consumer or technology brands.
• Proficiency with social listening platforms like Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Sprinklr, Meltwater, NetBase Quid, or equivalents.
• Ability to merge qualitative and quantitative data into compelling narratives that guide creative decisions.
• Strong passion for internet culture, social media platforms, creators, and emerging trends.

Additional Details

• Competitive annual salary of £55,000.
• Position commences on a contract basis.
• Hybrid work mode requiring two days weekly presence at Shoreditch offices.
