About The Role
This position supports the achievement of Social Impact goals, ensuring that communities in the areas we operate benefit significantly. The role requires travel between two sites located in the East Anglia region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the social impact manager/project lead to develop and implement Social Impact requirements across multiple projects.
- Engage with third sector organizations to foster partnerships.
- Track, report, and provide evidence for Social Impact metrics including local labor utilization, local spending, work experience arrangements, recruitment from priority groups, and community initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of apprenticeships within internal teams and the supply chain.
- Organize and conduct educational workshops in schools and further education institutions focusing on STEM and construction topics.
- Manage coordination of charitable donations and encourage community volunteering activities.
- Assist with CCS audits at project sites.
- Create and develop educational engagement content.
Candidate Profile
- A strong commitment to generating meaningful social benefits within local communities.
- Skilled in engaging and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Previous experience with delivering, monitoring, and documenting social impact outcomes.
- Knowledgeable about the third sector and its dynamics.
- Understanding of the educational system framework.
- Experience working with priority groups or individuals facing employment barriers.
