Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Waiter to join our team at Madinat Jumeirah Resort beginning September 2026. This role involves delivering outstanding guest service, from warmly welcoming and seating guests to assisting with menu options and accommodating special dietary needs. Responsibilities also include taking precise food and beverage orders, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, ensuring swift and quality service, and managing guest payments accurately using the MICROS POS system.
The Senior Waiter will uphold compliance with alcohol service laws by checking guest IDs and abiding by local regulations. They will oversee their assigned dining areas to guarantee efficient service, promptly address guest issues, and collaborate closely with other teams to sustain seamless operations in line with luxury standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate possesses a diploma or degree in Hospitality, is proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera Cloud systems, and has experience in multicultural settings. A background of 1 to 2 years in guest service roles within 5-star hotels is essential.
