About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer skilled in both desktop and web application development. The role involves contributing to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level desktop and web applications, along with managing project deliverables in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, and sustain desktop and web applications.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver top-quality software solutions.
- Handle software development projects adhering to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Engage in requirements gathering, architecture design, software development, deployment, and support operations.
- Lead project execution using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Maintain coding standards, ensure quality compliance, and implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
- Provide support during application deployment and troubleshoot production issues.
Required Skills and Experience
For desktop application development:
- Strong grasp of object-oriented design principles, advanced data structures, and algorithm implementation.
- Experience with the Eclipse IDE, especially Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) and SIRIUS graphical modeler.
- Deep knowledge of UML modeling and Java programming language.
For web application development:
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including React, Node.js, JavaScript, JSP, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with back-end frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Tomcat, and Wildfly.
- Familiarity with communication standards like OSLC (Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration).
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and CI/CD using GitLab.
- Development experience within VSCode IDE.
- Knowledge of application deployment on OpenShift platform.
