Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager Process (CRO & Raw Mill)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineer or Assistant Manager for Process operations specializing in Cement Raw Mill and CRO to ensure optimal production output, product quality, and efficient power consumption at our manufacturing plant in Rajasthan, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and fine-tune raw mill operating parameters to maintain smooth manufacturing processes.
• Conduct equipment inspections at each shift's start to detect abnormalities early.
• Keep detailed logbook records of all process parameters and monitor product quality metrics continuously.
• Promptly escalate major equipment breakdowns and act on corrective measures as directed.
• Collaborate effectively with supporting service departments to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Track and report shift-wise production and quality statistics; prepare daily production reports and enter data into SAP.
• Optimize power usage specifically to reduce consumption and avoid unnecessary idle equipment running.
• Implement practices to improve operational efficiency, increase productivity, and reduce equipment breakdown incidents.
• Manage process costs to stay within the approved budget and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) programs.
• Perform trend analysis and field observations to minimize recurring issues and identify leakages for prompt rectification.
• Lead shutdown activities, inspections of critical equipment such as VRM internals, separators, and dampers, and coordinate trial runs following maintenance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance work orders, ensure material availability, and guide contractor coordination.
• Implement new equipment and process procedures, including Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and operational excellence frameworks.
• Monitor pollution control systems like Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Bag Filters to ensure environmental compliance.
• Drive workplace organization initiatives such as 5S and housekeeping, and participate in Kaizen and operational improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with all audit requirements and actively participate in safety meetings and innovation forums.
• Promote and enforce 100% safety compliance; organize Toolbox Talks, safety awareness sessions, and incident reporting.
• Champion sustainability and environmental protection by monitoring leakages of air, water, and oil, and promoting resource conservation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engineering.
• 5 to 6 years of experience working within an integrated cement manufacturing plant.
