Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

This exciting position invites a Senior Civil Engineer to become part of a Christchurch-based team, taking the lead on civil design and project management for nationwide land development, three-waters, and infrastructure projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute detailed civil designs using Civil 3D, demonstrating advanced modelling expertise.
• Produce precise calculations, technical drawings, and comprehensive reports of high quality.
• Oversee construction monitoring activities and administer contracts across diverse land development sites.
• Collaborate directly with clients, council representatives, contractors, and community groups to ensure project alignment.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least 8 years of civil engineering experience focusing on land development and three waters projects within New Zealand.
• Exhibit strong New Zealand-specific design proficiency paired with excellent communication skills.
• Capable of independently managing complex civil engineering designs with a proactive and cooperative team mindset.
