Sales Coordinator – Freight

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding GAC's services, including pricing and product details.
• Prepare and dispatch quotations promptly for customer and partner requests such as rate inquiries and requests for offers.
• Keep cost and rate information current along with maintaining an electronic archive of all quotations produced.
• Accurately input customer booking information into the GAC Sales system and keep a record in Microsoft Excel of all inquiries received.
• Update and maintain the department’s quality service manuals regularly.
• Manage and refresh the electronic database of prospects and current customers within the assigned territory.
• Continuously improve personal skills and deepen knowledge of the market and competitors.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a university degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
• Preferably hold a UAE driving license to facilitate local operations.
• Have strong industry knowledge and the confidence to communicate persuasively with clients.
• Exhibit excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite—especially Excel and PowerPoint—and have the capacity to quickly learn new software tools.
• Bring a minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in a comparable role, including 1 to 2 years of direct experience in the UAE market.
