About the Role
Xanthi & Associates Ltd is seeking to fill 100 positions for qualified Safety Officers to work in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is designed for seasoned safety professionals with expertise in the Oil & Gas sector, especially those with experience in GCC countries and recognized international safety certifications.
Compensation
The salary ranges from SAR 4,000 to SAR 5,500 monthly. The final amount will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, certifications, and relevant experience.
Approximate equivalent salaries in other currencies are USD 1,067 to 1,467 and Ghanaian Cedis 12,267 to 16,867. All payments will be made in Saudi Riyals.
Responsibilities
- Enforce and observe workplace health and safety procedures.
- Conduct on-site safety inspections to identify risks.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and legal regulations.
- Perform risk assessments and advise on preventive measures.
- Oversee proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Deliver safety briefings and toolbox talks to raise awareness.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and reports.
- Promote safe operational practices in various work areas.
- Support emergency response planning and implementation of safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Essential experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Preferred possession of NEBOSH certification; OSHA certification is also accepted.
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
- Capable of functioning effectively in challenging industrial settings.
- Experience working in GCC countries is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas, industrial, or construction projects is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of risk assessments and compliance requirements.
