Role Summary
This full-time Revenue Manager position is based in Kodaikanal and follows a hybrid working model, allowing some responsibilities to be completed from home when business requirements permit. The role focuses on improving revenue outcomes across the company’s services and offerings by tracking demand, studying pricing movements, reviewing booking and sales performance, and building forecasts that support profitable decision-making.
Key Accountabilities
- Track demand patterns and pricing behavior to identify opportunities for stronger revenue performance.
- Review booking and sales data to evaluate performance and spot trends.
- Develop revenue forecasts and provide recommendations that help improve profitability.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and sales teams to ensure revenue is recognized correctly.
- Support inventory and rate management so that pricing and availability remain aligned with business goals.
- Prepare recurring revenue reports for management.
- Highlight risks, opportunities, and key insights that can support strategic decisions.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should bring strong analytical ability for working with data, tracking performance, and building forecasts. A sound understanding of revenue management and revenue recognition is important for pricing decisions and accurate reporting. The role also calls for solid finance and accounting knowledge to interpret statements and assist with budgeting and compliance. Comfort with spreadsheets, booking or revenue systems, and business intelligence tools will be valuable. Experience in hospitality, travel, or other services-led businesses is an advantage. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a closely related discipline is preferred. Strong communication, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams are essential.
