CDS Labour is a prominent recruitment and workforce solutions provider operating across various sectors throughout the UK. Experiencing growth, they are inviting applications for a Recruitment Coordinator to join their onsite team based in Torpoint, Cornwall, with remote working flexibility.

Role Summary

The Recruitment Coordinator will be integral in managing the coordination of temporary workers, supporting client requirements, and ensuring smooth recruitment operations. Acting as the main liaison for the workforce, this role includes overseeing staffing, workforce planning, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and onboard temporary workers aligned with client demands.
  • Maintain adequate staffing to fulfill daily bookings and client orders.
  • Organize worker schedules, including shift assignments and transportation logistics.
  • Create and manage daily rotas indicating shift timings, work sites, and PPE needs.
  • Provide continuous support, guidance, and welfare checks for temporary personnel.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients through frequent communication and onsite visits.
  • Monitor attendance and address operational challenges during client visits to assure service quality.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to optimize recruitment, planning, and transport processes.
  • Keep accurate documentation aligned with company policies and employment laws.
  • Adapt proactively to evolving client priorities and operational demands.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in recruitment, workforce planning, or similar coordination roles is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle concurrent priorities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset for problem resolution.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Competent IT skills with familiarity in recruitment software and Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work weekends when necessary.
  • Possession of a valid full UK driving licence is mandatory.
