Key Responsibilities
- Implement a comprehensive spectrum of professional production quality standards and concepts aligned with defined objectives and processes.
- Create transparent real-time data displays that support spontaneous analysis, prompt decision-making, preventative measures, and continuous improvements.
- Lead and inspire digital innovation initiatives to enhance production quality through creative problem solving and mentoring creative thinking methods.
- Support relocation efforts by managing all quality-related tasks such as transferring Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and 8D reports alongside facilitating production audits.
- Serve as a technical expert and consultant to management and business affiliates on specialized topics.
- Enforce production standards, guidelines, and programs within the designated plant setting.
- Coach and, when applicable, lead agile or lean project teams, including fulfilling roles like SCRUM master.
- Design and oversee standards and methodologies for inspection, testing, and quality evaluation.
- Apply process improvement techniques such as Value Stream Mapping to refine multiple production steps.
- Organize training sessions to educate production workers on quality tools and practices such as PDCA and Poka Yoke.
- Maintain effective collaboration with internal departments and external partners to resolve quality-related issues.
- Coordinate quality activities for all production outputs within the Business Unit and affiliated production sites.
- Provide counsel and escalate critical production quality matters to the responsible management tiers.
