Overview
We are urgently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team at a company specializing in UPVC doors and windows, located in Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, UP. The role requires monitoring and ensuring the quality of production and installation processes in a factory and site environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quality inspections of UPVC and aluminum doors and windows, including verification of fabrication standards.
- Conduct checks on glass, hardware, sealing, locking mechanisms, and alignment to maintain product quality.
- Read and interpret production and site drawings along with measurement sheets accurately.
- Utilize quality inspection tools, maintain checklists, prepare snag lists, and report non-conformance issues.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure compliance with installation standards and building material quality.
- Prepare timely and precise inspection reports and quality check documents.
- Work towards minimizing defects, rework, and customer complaints through effective quality control.
- Approve products pre-dispatch within specified deadlines and verify the completion of corrective actions for site-related quality problems.
- Maintain adherence to company quality standards and documentation procedures consistently.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Diploma, B.Tech, or ITI in Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in quality inspection, production quality control, especially in building materials, UPVC, aluminum, glass, or hardware sectors preferred; overall experience around 2 years.
- Comfortable working in both factory and site environments.
- Possession of own two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.
- Technical knowledge in UPVC and aluminum door/window quality inspection, production drawings, inspection tools, and customer complaint resolution is highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly salary ranging from 20,000 to 35,000 INR.
- Additional petrol and mobile allowances as per company policy.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timeliness and accuracy of quality check reports.
- Reduction in production defects, rework rates, and customer complaints.
- Ensuring pre-dispatch quality approvals are completed on schedule.
- Effective resolution of site issues and completion of snag list corrective measures.
- Strict compliance with company quality and documentation standards.
