Role Overview
This position involves conducting precise analytical testing on various materials including raw ingredients, packaging components, semi-finished, and finished goods within a laboratory environment, ensuring adherence to IQ standards and GMP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute analyses on raw, semi-finished, and final materials and generate comprehensive reports.
- Gather data necessary for the creation and refinement of technical specifications.
- Maintain and organize all chemicals, equipment, and laboratory tools ensuring their safety and availability through regular inventory checks.
- Conduct tests on samples of new raw and packaging materials to verify their conformity with required specifications and document findings.
- Carry out routine laboratory tests following established sampling procedures to facilitate finished product approval and validation processes.
- Utilize various analytical devices including pH meters, conductivity meters, spectrophotometers, and densitometers effectively.
- Manage monthly inventory of laboratory consumables, request replenishments when stock is low, and dispose of expired or soon-to-expire items responsibly.
- Ensure production of safe products by applying critical GMP principles within the assigned work area.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Educational and Professional Background
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline and have a minimum of two years of practical experience in laboratory testing, preferably within the perfume manufacturing industry.
Skills and Competencies
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities in Arabic and English.
- Strong skills in time management.
- Meticulous in documentation, reporting, and following up on laboratory tasks.
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices, laboratory operations, and industrial standards linked to Quality and GMP.
- Proficient knowledge of GMP and quality system standards.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office software.
