Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Technician I role is a detail-driven position responsible for confirming that manufactured products meet company goals, legal and regulatory requirements, product specifications, and customer expectations. The technician records test outcomes and helps identify improvements needed to achieve the highest possible product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all applicable federal, state, and other regulatory laws, rules, and guidelines.
Maintain compliance with food safety and product quality standards.
Carry out the required tests and inspections for OneCUP and traditional coffee packaging formats.
Perform analytical testing as needed.
Verify primary and secondary materials.
Test ingredients and finished goods.
Check product coding for accuracy.
Collect samples for analysis.
Escalate all non-conformances to the Quality Management team.
Handle special tasks assigned by the QA Supervisor, Quality Manager, SQF Practitioner, or QA Lead.
Work safely and adhere to all safety procedures and rules.
Promote, support, and learn Food Safety Culture practices.
Follow company policies and procedures with a strong focus on Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices to protect product integrity, operational performance, and compliance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior exposure to a manufacturing environment.
Comfort with basic mathematical concepts.
Strong interpretive and/or responsive problem-solving abilities.

Schedule and Location

This is an onsite position based in Lincoln, California. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with some weekend work required.

Compensation and Benefits

The role pays $23.70 per hour. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, vision, dental, 401(k), life insurance, and a health savings account. Additional perks include Costco membership reimbursement/renewal and a 40% employee discount.
