Psychiatrist

Role Overview

This position is for a Psychiatrist based full-time or part-time at the Seed Health And Wellness center in Doha, Qatar. The role encompasses conducting thorough psychiatric assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, formulating personalized treatment strategies, and delivering ongoing outpatient management. This includes medication oversight, psychotherapeutic interventions, and crisis response when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and establish mental health diagnoses.
• Devise and manage individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Administer medication treatment and provide psychotherapy sessions.
• Offer crisis intervention services as situations require.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of wellness professionals.
• Maintain precise, timely clinical documentation.
• Participate actively in case meetings and coordinated care planning efforts.
• Engage in community education and promote preventive mental health measures.
• Assist in refining SEED’s comprehensive care protocols to meet contemporary best practices and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a solid background in medicine and psychiatry, with proven expertise in evidence-based practices.
• Experience providing psychiatric care across various patient populations.
• Hold a current medical license or be eligible for psychiatry licensure in Qatar, accompanied by board certification or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and effective communication with clients and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Commit to delivering culturally sensitive, patient-oriented holistic care.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills offer an added advantage.
• Experience in wellness or integrative medicine clinics is preferred.
