Role Overview

The Project Execution Team Member plays a crucial role in supporting site construction activities at the Parel Project in Mumbai by assisting with on-site supervision, contractor coordination, and ensuring adherence to approved plans, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols. This position aids senior engineers and site leadership in meeting construction milestones and maintaining project timelines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Help minimize material wastage and reduce rework during site activities.
• Contribute to enhancing productivity and efficient use of resources onsite.
• Assist in overseeing material usage and monitoring consumption on site.
• Support the timely achievement of project milestones and billing objectives.
• Ensure work execution aligns with project schedules and quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients to facilitate smooth progress.
• Resolve execution challenges by collaborating with contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain positive stakeholder relations through disciplined and organized work execution.
• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Work closely with QA/QC, safety, planning, and MEP teams to synchronize efforts.
• Monitor contractor labor deployment and track work progress effectively.
• Support the generation of daily progress reports and maintain comprehensive site documentation.
• Uphold accurate site records and assist during inspection documentation processes.
• Develop technical knowledge of construction practices and site management.
• Gain familiarity with applicable quality and safety standards related to construction projects.
• Engage in training programs and capacity-building initiatives to enhance skills.
• Build coordination and problem-solving abilities through hands-on site experience.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Possess an Engineering Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Have 3 to 6 years of practical experience in construction execution, including site supervision, contractor coordination, adherence to quality and safety protocols, and reporting.
• Fluency in English is necessary; knowledge of national and regional languages is preferred.

Technical and Behavioral Competencies

• Comprehensive knowledge of construction types such as RCC, Steel, Hybrid, MEP, Finishes, Precasting, Erection, Tunnelling, Marine Work, Fabrication, Formwork, Piling, Roadworks, etc., along with materials, methods, techniques, and market trends to effectively plan and manage construction projects while optimizing safety and quality.
• Capability to interpret project and package requirements and accurately forecast costs, including materials, manpower, equipment, vendors, and overheads, informed by market conditions and historical data for budget and financial planning.
• Proficiency in utilizing advanced software tools across project lifecycles to support functional responsibilities and promote effective project scheduling and execution.
• Ability to read and analyze various technical documentation such as architectural and engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, GFC drawings, and shop drawings to understand specifications, dimensions, materials, and construction methods.
• Skills in time management and prioritization to efficiently organize meetings, manage stakeholder availability, take minutes, prepare agendas, follow up on action items, and coordinate travel for optimized productivity.
• Competence in systematically assessing project progress and outcomes against plans using relevant tools to identify causes of deviations, facilitating informed decision-making and corrective measures aligned with contractual agreements.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data for identifying efficiency bottlenecks and trends, supporting decision-making by preparing detailed reports and visual dashboards on key project performance indicators.
