As expansion continues, we seek an experienced Production Supervisor to contribute to our team and support our mission to keep Ireland cool.

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor will oversee the operation of ice production and packaging machinery, ensuring processes run efficiently while maintaining high product standards and compliance with food safety regulations. The candidate will lead the team, monitor quality, complete documentation, and contribute to smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the production team to meet daily production goals.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with management and departments for seamless operations.
• Operate and supervise ice manufacturing equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Manage packaging machinery for efficient product packing.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to meet quality, food safety, and customer criteria.
• Maintain detailed and accurate quality check documentation.
• Detect, diagnose, and report machinery faults, and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Label, palletize, and ready finished products for dispatch accurately.
• Record production data precisely to facilitate reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to food safety and health & safety standards.
• Assist with stock loading and unloading tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience as a Team Leader, Machine Operator, or similar role in food manufacturing preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to undertake minor machinery repairs.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills and a positive work ethic.
• Physical endurance including the capability to handle heavy lifting.
• Willingness to work rotating weekly shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, including the possibility of evenings and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of €18.00.
• Annual retention bonus of €1,250 paid in September.

Additional Information

Applicants should be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Baltinglass, County Wicklow prior to starting. A minimum of one year’s food production experience is required.
