Procurement Engineer MEP

What you will do

• Handle procurement for MEP materials, equipment, and subcontract packages across several projects.

• Identify, assess, negotiate with, and manage vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable commercial terms.
• Draft and process RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and related commercial documents.
• Work in close coordination with Engineering, Commercial, Planning, Project, and Site teams so procurement supports uninterrupted execution.
• Track supplier performance, delivery timelines, and overall procurement status, while anticipating and reducing supply-chain risks.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
• You should bring 8–12+ years of procurement experience in the MEP construction sector, specifically with a main contractor.
• Good working knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, local and global sourcing channels, and subcontract procurement is expected.
• Strong commercial judgment, negotiation ability, and contract management capability are essential.
• Practical experience using ERP platforms and procurement workflows is needed.
