Public Relations Intern

About the Role

Join CHANEL in Dubai as a Public Relations Intern, contributing to the PR department's daily efforts supporting three major business divisions. This is a six-month internship requiring candidates to be currently residing in the UAE. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about communications, organization, and the luxury sector.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor and report daily on digital, social media, and print press coverage.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly activity reports encompassing all divisions.
• Maintain and update the PR Database daily to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
• Manage and organize the PR Stock Room and Library for quick retrieval of press materials.
• Assist in organizing events through tasks like venue scouting, RSVP coordination, and managing hair, makeup, and model selections.
• Distribute press-related materials, including Press Kits and other communications tools.
• Manage sample logistics for photo shoots across divisions utilizing Fashion GPS software.
• Provide targeted support for Watches & Fine Jewelry activities.
• Respond to press inquiries related to images, samples, pricing, and additional information.
• Help coordinate special brand photo shoots and collaborate on press trips involving restaurant bookings, destination research, and itinerary updates.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related disciplines.
• Strong interest in PR, communications, or marketing within an international luxury environment.
• Good understanding of the luxury industry landscape.
• Proficient written and spoken English communication skills.
• Residency in Dubai or readiness to relocate.
