PM Locals Team Member (Fixed Term until February 2027)

This role sits within the Distribution Centre, which supports store operations by making sure products reach the right place at the right time. The team is being expanded to meet peak-season demand.

Role summary

As a member of the Inwards Locals Team, you will handle incoming local stock from the moment it arrives through to the point it is processed and ready for the floor. The job is varied, hands-on, and suited to someone who enjoys an active warehouse environment.

Key duties

• Unload cartons weighing roughly 1 kg to 20 kg and unpack incoming goods
• Check stock, scan barcodes, and sort items accurately
• Use RF scanning equipment to record and track inventory movement
• Close, label, and prepare stock so it is ready for the shop floor
• Operate pallet jacks, box cutters, and strapping tools safely
• Carry out bulk picking and maintain stock locations
• Adjust quickly when priorities change during the shift

Working arrangements

This is a fixed-term appointment running until February 2027. The roster is Monday to Friday, from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The hourly rate is $30.28.

Peak period note

This position supports the business through the peak season ending in February 2027. Because this is the busiest time of year, extended leave is unlikely to be approved during this period, including around Christmas and New Year. Public holidays are not worked.

What we are looking for

We are seeking someone who is physically capable of being on their feet throughout the day, can lift and manage stock carefully, and brings strong attention to detail. Good time management, problem-solving ability, clear communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important. Prior warehouse or distribution experience is useful but not required.
