About the Role
Join Quest Global as a Piping Stress Engineer in Bengaluru, contributing to detailed static and dynamic evaluations of piping systems to verify mechanical integrity, ensure operational safety, and comply with industry standards and client requirements. The role involves assessing system behavior under different operating and environmental conditions and coordinating closely with various engineering disciplines for seamless integration.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a Master's degree considered advantageous.
- Certification in CAESAR-II software usage is preferred.
- Between 8 to 15 years of practical experience in piping stress analysis across industrial projects.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Proficient in CAESAR II software, with additional experience in AutoPIPE or ROHR2 being beneficial.
- Familiarity with 3D model review tools like Navisworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of ASME B31 series codes, API standards such as API 610 for pumps, and pertinent industry regulations.
- Strong foundation in engineering disciplines including statics, dynamics, materials science, and fluid dynamics.
