About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately for all employees on a bi-weekly or monthly schedule, ensuring timely payments that comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Oversee expense reports by verifying accuracy and guaranteeing prompt reimbursements.
• Perform routine audits of payroll processes and documentation to detect and remedy any discrepancies swiftly.
• Maintain meticulous payroll records including timesheets, invoices, and tax documents.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to efficiently handle payroll-related tasks.
• Stay informed about updates in payroll legislation and best practices, incorporating necessary changes accordingly.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll concerns professionally and promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least two years of payroll experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Competence in payroll software and proficiency with computer applications like Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, accounting, tax regulations, and related procedures.
• Experience managing expense reports, conducting audits, and handling reimbursements.
• Exceptional numerical aptitude and keen attention to detail to manage large data volumes accurately.
• Effective organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with employees across all levels.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $24 to $27.
