Job Overview
The Partner Account Manager role is based in Bangalore and demands over 12 years of experience. This position carries end-to-end responsibility for commercial business growth through channel partners, primarily focusing on server and storage solutions across assigned key infrastructure partners within the region. The role emphasizes driving Lenovo's One Business strategy by cultivating strong partner relationships and collaborating cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the One Lenovo business model, integrating PC, infrastructure (server and storage), and solution portfolios.
- Fuel growth in server and storage segments via strategic channel partner engagement and enablement.
- Develop and implement Joint Business Plans and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure structured, long-term growth.
- Manage key assigned “metal” partners by delivering training, securing mindshare, and accelerating market share growth.
- Own full revenue responsibility for the B2B commercial business through channel partners.
- Scout and develop new business opportunities in various commercial verticals and devise expansion plans.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Pre-sales, Operations, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment in execution, pricing, governance, and demand generation.
- Formulate a unified channel strategy to align stakeholders for consistent and profitable growth.
- Maintain high partner satisfaction, promote long-term partnerships, and ensure business sustainability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in account or partner management, preferably in B2B channel sales.
- In-depth knowledge of server and storage business is mandatory.
- Proven track record in executing structured Joint Business Plans and leading impactful Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
- Strong strategic thinking coupled with effective execution skills and revenue-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- Previous experience in technology or IT sales is essential.
- Proficiency using CRM and sales productivity software.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in teams and deliver results under commercial targets.
