Part-Time Night Porter

Position Overview

The Maritime Hotel, a distinguished 4-star establishment within The Gleneagle Group in Bantry, County Cork, is seeking a committed part-time Night Porter. This role is essential in ensuring guests experience exceptional service and a secure, comfortable stay overnight. The position primarily involves weekend shifts with some occasional day shifts to diversify responsibilities and enhance overall contribution to the hotel's success.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide warm, personalized, and efficient guest service by anticipating and fulfilling their needs professionally.
• Help guests with their luggage, offer accurate directions, and respond competently to various inquiries.
• Manage night reception duties, including smooth check-in and check-out processes.
• Support guest requests proactively, such as arranging transportation and ensuring amenities are available.
• Maintain the highest standards of guest and hotel security to guarantee a safe and peaceful atmosphere.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is advantageous.
• A friendly, self-motivated individual capable of working independently, maintaining excellent service quality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
