Role Summary
We seek a composed and dependable Night Auditor to become an integral part of a hotel's overnight team. This position requires a blend of warm guest interaction, precise administrative work, and responsibility to manage the property calmly and professionally during night hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests courteously through the night.
- Accurately handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and registration processes.
- Perform end-of-day financial audits including balancing transactions and preparing reports.
- Reconcile cash, credit card payments, and hotel revenue records diligently.
- Address guest inquiries, issues, and complaints efficiently and diplomatically.
- Maintain detailed shift logs and ensure comprehensive communication for the next day's staff.
- Oversee public areas such as lobby and front desk during overnight shifts.
- Support safety protocols, confidentiality, and emergency handling procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in Front Office, Reception, or Night Audit roles is advantageous.
- Excellent numerical skills with comfort using hotel systems and financial reports.
- Ability to remain calm and professional, maintaining a guest-focused attitude in busy or challenging times.
- Self-motivated and responsible for independent work during overnight periods.
- Strong communication skills with a polished, professional appearance.
- Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation & Language Requirements
The position offers a gross monthly salary of €3000. Applicants must be fluent in German (C1 level) and English to effectively communicate during shifts.
