Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver Integrative Neurofeedback Therapy by creating Quantitative EEG brain maps, conducting therapy sessions, and maintaining clinical records.
- Administer Electromedical Therapy using Alpha-Stim® devices, oversee patient sessions, and document clinical activities.
- Organize patient scheduling and appointments.
- Collaborate with department and clinical colleagues to share patient updates concerning neurofeedback and electromedical therapy.
- Record program data and execute basic data analysis.
- Coordinate with the IMS department to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Ensure EEG equipment and caps are regularly cleaned and fully functional.
- Monitor supplies essential for neurofeedback and electromedical therapy, such as electrode gel and syringes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the neurofeedback workspace.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with scientific best practices.
- Maintain professional boundaries and ethical conduct with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in weekly department meetings.
- Support administrative tasks within the department.
- Complete all required paperwork and clinical documentation accurately and promptly.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality according to Title 42, CFR, Part 2, HIPAA, and Caron policies.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work overtime or extended hours if necessary.
- Capacity to sit for prolonged durations.
- Ability to stand for at least 15 minutes to position EEG caps on patients.
- Availability for travel and attendance at conferences.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, or a related science or healthcare discipline is mandatory.
- Experience in addiction treatment is advantageous.
- Training in data analytics and quantitative methods is preferred.
- Proficiency with clinical software and various computer programs is required.
- Applicants in recovery should ideally have at least two years of continuous sobriety.
Skills and Abilities

- Computer literacy including Microsoft applications and specialized clinical software.
