About the Role
Join Green by Nature as a Mowing Team Leader to oversee the maintenance of expansive commercial green spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and expertly cared for. This leadership position emphasizes hands-on horticulture tasks, predominantly mowing, with a focus on safety, presentation, and quality standards across sites. The role entails early starts with early finishes and involves active, diverse outdoor work.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize daily activities and lead the team’s work pace effectively.
- Perform practical mowing and general horticulture duties.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks on site.
- Guide and mentor crew members to develop their skills and performance.
- Coordinate communication with supervisors and clients to ensure smooth site operations.
Candidate Profile
We prioritize experience and a positive attitude over rigid criteria. Candidates may come from varied backgrounds but should demonstrate:
- Relevant qualification in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture or comparable experience.
- Background in landscape or park maintenance roles.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability and confidence in leading or assisting small teams.
- Dedication to producing and maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces.
