Midnight Cashier at Changi Airport

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Midnight Cashier to join our team at Changi Airport. The role involves managing sales transactions, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring a smooth customer checkout experience during overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process all sales, accepting cash, credit, and other payment methods via the Point-Of-Sales system.
• Manage cash collections, withdrawals, and ensure reconciliation of transactions at shift end.
• Monitor and replenish inventory such as receipt paper rolls and STEB bags as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area through routine housekeeping tasks.
• Comply with duty-free allowances, age restrictions, and other relevant regulations.
• Engage customers actively to promote additional purchases and boost sales.
• Represent the company professionally as the brand ambassador during customer interactions.
• Handle gate deliveries for Australian and New Zealand flights.
• Assist with procurement activities including picking and packing for I-Shop Changi.
• Perform any other duties assigned as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum education: GCE 'N' Level or 'O' Level.
• At least one year of experience in cashiering roles.
• Professional and neat appearance.
• Positive attitude focused on delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
• Capability to work midnight shifts at Changi Airport.
• Commitment to work five days per week including weekends and public holidays.
