MEP Technicians and RO Operators

Role overview

Qatar Overseas Management (QOM) is hiring for two experienced technical roles in Qatar: an MEP Technician with a background in swimming pool systems and HVAC maintenance, and an RO Plant Operator responsible for running reverse osmosis water treatment systems. Both positions are focused on dependable site operations, equipment reliability, and timely maintenance support.

MEP Technician – Swimming Pools & HVAC

The MEP Technician will handle installation, preventive care, fault diagnosis, and repair work across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with particular emphasis on pool equipment and HVAC units.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on MEP systems.
• Service and repair swimming pool filtration setups, pumps, filters, dosing units, and water treatment equipment.
• Identify and fix mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Diagnose HVAC equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, split units, package units, and chillers.
• Follow safety and quality requirements during all maintenance work.
• Prepare maintenance reports and service records accurately.
• Respond quickly when emergency maintenance support is required.

MEP Technician requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Practical knowledge of swimming pool systems and HVAC maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Must already be in Qatar with a valid QID.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

RO Plant Operator

The RO Plant Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining reverse osmosis water treatment systems to support consistent plant performance and water quality.

• Run and monitor RO plants and related water treatment systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Track water quality values and chemical dosing levels.
• Investigate equipment issues and escalate abnormalities when needed.
• Keep daily operating logs and maintenance documentation up to date.
• Work in line with health, safety, and environmental rules.

RO Plant Operator requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in RO plant operations.
• Good understanding of RO systems, pumps, filters, membranes, and water treatment processes.
• Experience troubleshooting RO plant equipment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Must currently be in Qatar with a valid QID.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
