Bath Planet of Seattle is looking for a skilled Marketing Event Coordinator based locally in Seattle, WA. This role focuses on heading event marketing initiatives across the region, perfect for an enthusiastic leader interested in event promotion, team supervision, and enhancing customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Scout, arrange, and secure spots at relevant local events such as trade shows, fairs, and festivals.
• Organize and oversee promotional event calendars effectively.
• Lead recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring of a dynamic team of event marketing representatives.
• Drive generation of high-quality customer leads through direct event marketing activities.
• Ensure event booths are set up professionally, kept in optimal condition, and properly dismantled after events.
• Monitor and report weekly metrics including productivity levels, labor, inventory, and budget adherence.
• Set and pursue weekly and monthly performance objectives.
• Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to maximize the impact and success of events.
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with customers, team members, and supervisors.

Qualifications Required

• Must reside within Seattle, WA area.
• At least three years of professional experience in event marketing.
• Prior experience managing teams and leadership roles.
• Proven abilities in hiring, training, and mentoring staff members.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle.
• Capable of standing for long durations during events.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting duties.
• Available to work weekends consistently.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Background in promotional marketing, trade events, or home improvement sectors.
• Well-developed organizational and project management skills.
• Experience in sales or lead generation is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive weekly base salary ranging from $800 to $1,200.
• Additional commission and performance incentives tied to appointments and sales from events.
• Travel expenses covered for qualifying business-related trips outside of regular commute.
