About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant with 1 to 2 years of marketing experience to join our Brand Marketing team specializing in the Fragrance and Beauty sector. This is a 3-month contract position based in New York, NY, with a hybrid work model requiring presence three days per week at the office. There is potential for contract extension based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of market trends and competitor activities utilizing tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Circana.
- Manage coordination of product samples, retailer requests, and oversee inventory operations.
- Support the process of purchase orders, SKU creation, and the execution of product launches.
- Assist in influencer seeding programs, retailer engagement initiatives, and preparation for meetings.
- Conduct visits to competitor stores and contribute to marketing presentation development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Have 1 to 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the Beauty or Fragrance industry which is considered a significant advantage.
- Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and organizational capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced hybrid environment with mandatory office attendance of at least three days per week in New York City.
