Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead Fiber Network Operations & Maintenance, particularly within FTTH technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted service and adherence to SLAs through effective management and coordination across multiple teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Guarantee service assurance and delivery meet the established SLA and KPI benchmarks.
- Address network escalations promptly while collaborating with Planning, Construction/Deployment, Home Care, NOC, Business, and O&M teams.
- Maintain optimal fiber network uptime and ensure strict SLA compliance.
- Execute Root Cause Analysis on network incidents and deploy corrective strategies to prevent repeat failures.
- Offer Level 2 technical assistance to JC O&M teams for complex network challenges.
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance efforts for maximum efficiency.
- Oversee materials management including inventory and spare parts reconciliation.
- Regulate and evaluate Service Partner performance to secure superior service quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience, including no less than 4 years directly handling Fiber Network O&M focused on FTTH technologies.
- Completed BE/B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- Proficient with fiber testing and measurement instruments such as OTDR, Power Meter, and Fusion Splicer.
- Familiarity with IP networking and Transmission hardware.
- Deep understanding of fiber optic communication principles.
- Exceptional skills in planning, managing stakeholders, and resolving escalations.
- Strong analytical mindset, troubleshooting expertise, and decision-making capabilities.
