To ensure the security and continuous operation of this network, we seek a proactive and meticulous Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) Specialist. This role focuses on safeguarding personnel and preventing losses across our comprehensive supply chain sites.

Key Duties

• Assist in bolstering business continuity by aiding the development of emergency and crisis response plans for sites under your jurisdiction.
• Identify security vulnerabilities such as loss risks, associate experience gaps, and process inefficiencies, proposing suitable corrective measures in full compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Act as the primary liaison for risk management, partnering with local management and external entities like law enforcement and industry groups on all security issues.
• Ensure assigned sites meet Amazon's global security standards consistently.

Typical Activities

As a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist, you will work within a dedicated team providing security services across multiple business units in your geographic zone. Your responsibilities include conducting routine physical security inspections, investigating breaches of policies, security incidents, and loss events. You will gather evidence through system monitoring, data analysis, and interviews to recognize weaknesses and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Maintaining the physical security infrastructure is a crucial part of your role, involving auditing system health, collaborating with experts and vendors to sustain optimal system performance, and managing external security providers to guarantee quality service delivery.

You will regularly interface with various internal and external stakeholders including legal, HR, security agencies, and law enforcement, serving as a subject matter expert in security and loss prevention.

Additionally, you will facilitate training and awareness programs on loss prevention and provide guidance regarding policies and procedures across all management levels.

Operating within Amazon's Global Security Operations, the Security and Loss Prevention team aims to protect Amazon's employees, customers, business processes, assets, and brand integrity by managing risk comprehensively. Qualifications

• Possession of a degree or its equivalent.
• Fluency in English—spoken and written—is highly preferred.
