Logistics Officer

Overview

Nyrstar Australia is seeking a committed and detail-focused Logistics Officer to enhance operational efficiency within the Commercial team based in Hobart, Tasmania. This role is crucial in managing logistics functions, administrative tasks, and ensuring seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and oversee the invoicing workflow to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor and meet essential invoice control performance indicators.
• Administer claims related to the Tasmanian Freight Equalisation Scheme (TFES).
• Conduct accurate data entry and manage master data efficiently.
• Support all operational procedures for the Commercial team from order processing through final invoicing.
• Coordinate the delivery process of byproducts to clients.

Candidate Profile

• A background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or allied fields is favorable.
• At least two years of experience in logistics and administration, ideally within a large organisation.
• Capability to perform well under pressure and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills allowing for both independent work and effective team collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in SAP being an added advantage.
