This position operates remotely within the US Eastern Time Zone, with occasional travel to Kentucky and North Carolina. The role offers a salary up to $130,000 pro-rata plus benefits. The focus is on enhancing operational efficiency throughout the company's established US logistics network, which supplies major retail and pharmacy customers.
Key Responsibilities

- Utilize data and KPIs to monitor logistics operations and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead projects to optimize outbound distribution including parcel and less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation to reduce costs while enhancing customer service.
- Collaborate closely with retail clients, internal departments, and logistics partners to address operational challenges, handle escalations, and sustain high delivery standards.
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and consumer product requirements in a regulated environment.
- Support ongoing operational improvement initiatives to strengthen the logistics function by contract end.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience overseeing US-based third-party logistics providers in warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Background in consumer healthcare, over-the-counter (OTC), pharmaceuticals, or similarly regulated fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
- Skilled in logistics performance enhancement through KPI management, data analysis, and continuous improvement efforts with exposure to parcel and LTL distribution.
- Customer-centric approach with experience managing major retail accounts balancing service quality, cost efficiency, and operational results.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities with the aptitude to build effective relationships across suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field; additional certifications such as APICS, CSCP, or CPIM are beneficial.
Location and Working Conditions
- This is a fully remote role requiring residence in the US Eastern Time Zone.
- Periodic travel to the company’s Kentucky logistics site and occasional visits to the North Carolina corporate office are expected.
This opportunity offers significant visibility, autonomy, and the chance to influence and improve a key aspect of a reputable international healthcare business’s US logistics operations.
