Job Overview
The role involves managing the daily data entry related to return parcels and exploring ways to enhance outbound shipping processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. The position requires working closely with external teams such as Customer Service and Business Development to execute strategies aimed at operational excellence. The assistant will be in charge of determining the appropriate disposal methods for different types of returned parcels and may be assigned various other tasks by their manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry tasks concerning returned parcels.
- Investigate methods to optimize outbound operations for cost-effectiveness and improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with external departments like Customer Service and Business Development to implement defined operational initiatives.
- Decide on suitable disposal processes for return parcels based on parcel categorization.
- Undertake other duties assigned by the manager as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum education level of GCE O Level or higher.
- Proficiency in Google applications including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
- Demonstrate responsibility and maintain a positive outlook.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Basic analytical ability, detail-oriented with an understanding of business impacts.
- Willingness and capability to quickly acquire new skills proactively.
- Available to work night shifts in a warehouse setting, Monday to Friday, from 9 PM to 6 AM, with possible weekend shifts.
- Ability to commute and work in the western region of Singapore.
