Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker for a long-term care setting in Logan, West Virginia. In this role, you will help keep linens and personal garments clean, available, and ready for use while supporting a safe, orderly, and resident-focused environment. What You Will Do
- Gather, separate, launder, dry, finish, and hand out linens and residents’ clothing.
- Use laundry machines and related equipment in a careful and efficient manner.
- Keep track of laundry tasks and notify the supervisor about equipment problems or safety concerns.
- Work in line with infection prevention standards and universal precautions to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
- Communicate courteously with residents, staff members, and visitors while delivering strong customer service.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What You Need
- A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is preferred.
- Prior experience in laundry work is preferred, though not mandatory.
- A professional attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, administrators, and HCSG leadership.
- Willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long stretches.
- Comfort working around cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to follow spoken and written directions and complete repetitive daily tasks.
- Residence within the service area is required.
