About the Role
We Are Social is seeking a Junior Strategist (m/w/d) to join our Strategy Team based in Berlin or Munich on an 18-month contract. We are a global, socially-driven creative agency with over 1,300 employees across 17 offices worldwide. Our work focuses on shaping social media culture with ideas that spark conversations around brands. We have a deep understanding of online communities, cultures, and subcultures spanning the entire social landscape. Our German clients include notable names like AUDI AG, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, and Müller. We Are Social is part of the Plus Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Strategy Team with daily operations and client projects.
- Conduct research on markets, target audiences, trends, and cultural shifts.
- Contribute to the development of channel, content, and campaign strategies.
- Support pitch preparations and strategic processes.
- Create and format presentations, analyses, and reports.
- Extract insights from social media platforms and cultural developments.
- Participate in workshops, brainstorming sessions, and strategic derivations.
Candidate Profile
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience from internships, working student roles, training programs, or apprenticeships.
- Keen interest in consumer behavior, social media, and brand communication.
- Curiosity about cultural and societal trends.
- Currently studying or trained in fields like Business Administration, Economics, Media, Communication, Sociology, Cultural Studies, or related disciplines.
- Good grasp of digital platforms and social media.
- Excellent command of German and English, both spoken and written.
- Organized and capable of working independently.
- Strong communication skills and enjoys collaborating within a team.
- Open to data analysis, insights, and analytical thinking.
- Proficient or motivated to quickly learn Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Eager to learn, ask questions, and bring new perspectives to the table.
