Junior QA Engineer (Entry Level)

About the Role

Rep AI is pioneering the first AI-powered Concierge sales chatbot designed for eCommerce, helping online shoppers while boosting sales and automating up to 90% of customer support inquiries. We are searching for an enthusiastic Junior Manual QA Engineer, ideal for those with minimal experience or recent graduates passionate about software quality and eager to develop their skills in testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation and execution of test cases for web-based platforms.
• Conduct thorough manual testing on new and existing features, documenting any issues and tracking defects diligently.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to grasp project requirements and maintain superior quality deliverables.
• Contribute to QA documentation including test cases, bug reports, and execution logs.
• Engage in the enhancement of QA methods and practices.
• Validate user interface, functionality, and performance aspects of the platform.
• Participate in team meetings by offering insights on product quality and user experience.

Candidate Requirements

• 0-1 year of professional experience or internship in software testing.
• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Foundational knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• A genuine passion for quality assurance and software development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to follow detailed test plans and clearly document defects.
• Motivation to learn and grow within the QA field.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile methodology, familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, or knowledge of API testing is advantageous.
