Sohum Shoppe Pvt. Ltd. is currently expanding its team at their Panjabari Head Office in Guwahati, Assam, and is looking to fill multiple vacancies for Inventory Executives and Packers & Taggers. This opportunity promises a role where attention to detail and coordination with multiple teams is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities

Both roles involve interacting with incoming and outgoing stock at the warehouse including documentation and physical verification:

• Receive and inspect goods from suppliers or warehouse with accompanying Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
• Enter incoming stock data into ERP systems ensuring accuracy in quantity, supplier or brand details, MRP, and storage location.
• Attach appropriate barcodes and security tags to products before they are transferred to the sales floor.
• Prepare transfer documents for dispatching stock out of the warehouse.
• Conduct physical stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies between system records and actual inventory.
• Work closely with the Store Manager to monitor and control stock variance.
• Coordinate with the Buying Team and Inventory Manager regarding stock movements including transfers and outgoing consignments.
• Maintain detailed records of Non-Trading Materials held at the outlet.

Specifics for Inventory Executive

• Must be a graduate in any discipline.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is necessary.
• Experience with PDT handheld scanning devices and ERP systems is expected.
• Minimum one year of experience, preferably in retail inventory management.

Specifics for Packers & Taggers

• Preferably candidates who have passed 10th or 12th grade or possess relevant warehouse experience.
• Basic knowledge of product codes, barcodes, and shipping labels is essential.
• Physical fitness to stand or walk for long durations and ability to lift boxes weighing 15–20 kg.
• Ability to work efficiently with high levels of accuracy and speed.
