Key Responsibilities
- Oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and consumption of lattice materials and components while maintaining precise inventory data within ERP/SAP platforms.
- Track stock movements accurately and ensure the integrity of all inventory transactions.
- Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock by collaborating closely with stores and planning teams.
- Ensure full traceability of materials throughout all manufacturing stages.
- Record, verify, and account for raw materials, consumables, work-in-progress, and finished goods transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations of the stores ledger against financial records and assess provisions for slow-moving, obsolete, or non-moving inventory.
- Validate the consumption of materials and the corresponding cost allocations for production orders.
- Perform frequent inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies by working alongside production and stores personnel to implement corrective measures.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports covering inventory status, stock aging, and variance analyses.
- Assist in month-end and year-end inventory closures and contribute to cost and inventory performance analysis.
- Execute cycle counts and physical verifications regularly, coordinate statutory and stock audits, and maintain thorough documentation to support audit compliance.
- Facilitate audit activities by coordinating with internal and external auditors and follow through on corrective actions based on audit recommendations.
- Ensure the compliance with relevant accounting standards, standard operating procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and ERP system enhancements.
- Support inventory optimization projects and system upgrades within the ERP framework.
