Job Overview
The Interior Engineer Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all interior finishing operations at construction sites, ensuring that work aligns with approved plans, technical specifications, safety guidelines, and schedules. This position demands collaboration with multiple stakeholders including contractors, designers, and project management to achieve the desired design quality and client satisfaction.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily interior tasks such as finishes, carpentry, flooring, ceilings, painting, and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
- Verify that all work is performed according to approved drawings, specified materials, and required quality benchmarks.
- Maintain coordination with interior designers, architects, consultants, and subcontractor teams.
- Track work progress and provide status updates to the Project Manager.
- Inspect incoming materials for quality assurance and compliance.
- Conduct systematic quality inspections and create snag lists, ensuring any defects are rectified promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and on-site regulatory standards.
- Oversee the activities of interior subcontractors and labor workforce.
- Support site measurements, prepare mock-ups, and assist with sample approvals.
- Address any technical or execution challenges related to interior works on site.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 7 years of practical experience in interior fit-out or finishing works.
- Comprehensive knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and installation procedures.
- Strong communication abilities and capacity to coordinate with teams.

Work Environment and Conditions

Salary Details
