Job Overview
GETP Holding is looking to hire 24 skilled Instrument Technicians for a full-time onsite position in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must bring mandatory experience in the fertilizer sector.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, test, and perform preventive maintenance on various instruments including transmitters (pressure, level, flow, temperature), switches, analyzers (pH and conductivity), vibration instrumentation, valves, and associated accessories.
- Use hand tools and test instruments effectively for calibration, configuration, and repair tasks.
- Handle removal, installation, and adjustment of vibration probes as required by machinery standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workplace by performing housekeeping after job completion.
- Maintain accurate records using CMMS and prepare basic reports.
- Adhere to safety protocols specific to working in fertilizer plants, including proper use of PPE and compliance with work permit systems.
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions consistently.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Engineering relevant to the discipline (minimum 3 years study plus 12th grade).
- At least 6 years of practical experience in instrument maintenance within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer industries.
- Preferably experienced with the Work Order module of SAP's Enterprise Asset Maintenance system.
- Strong competency in managing the scope of work related to instrumentation in industrial settings.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken.
