Position Summary

The Information Technology Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's computer systems, desktops, and related peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and equipment to ensure efficient workstation operation. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues either in person, by phone, or via work order and providing necessary assistance to end-users.

This position is based at our new store on Bourbon Street.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the initial contact for all employee computer and system-related issues.
Identify and resolve problems involving computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, peripherals, including printers, scanners, presentation tools, and software to maintain service levels.
Work collaboratively with the Director of Technology to ensure smooth desktop computing operations.
Assist in the development and rollout of new computer projects and hardware installations.
Administer end-user network software and resolve related issues.
Manage incoming technical support calls, pages, and work orders for desktop-related problems.
Verify and maintain proper functionality of desktop network connections such as network jacks.
Coordinate with third-party technical support and hardware vendors when needed.
Perform various duties within the scope of the position's intent.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to pass a background check is mandatory.
Must obtain a Missouri Cannabis Agent Card and complete state fingerprinting; the company covers initial fees.
Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Effective and professional communication skills within the team.
Capability to perform well under pressure and remain organized in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
Strong customer service skills.
Self-driven with multitasking capabilities and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
Availability to work during weekends and holidays as required.
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware, components, and hands-on troubleshooting expertise.
Familiarity with current technical protocols, operating systems, and standards.
Skilled in operating tools and peripheral devices, and capable of understanding technical documentation and OEM manuals.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity for operating keyboards, mice, power tools, and other equipment.
Quick responsiveness to auditory signals and awareness of potentially hazardous scenarios.
Mobility in uneven or confined spaces and proficiency in using personal protective equipment for extended periods.
Capability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours continuously.
Tolerant to work conditions including bright light, heat, humidity, low light, and exposure to limited hazardous chemicals.
Tasks involve lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, repetitive hand movements, grasping, and close visual work.
