Role Overview

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Hawthorns Braintree Care Home, you will be an essential part of the team ensuring high cleaning and laundry standards. You will follow our established operational procedures to maintain cleanliness and uphold hotel service excellence throughout the care home environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform various cleaning tasks precisely according to assigned worksheets.
Understand and apply appropriate cleaning techniques for different surfaces and materials to maintain presentation and upkeep.
Respect residents by safeguarding their dignity, personal space, and belongings during all housekeeping activities.

Candidate Profile

Demonstrate our core values of care, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability consistently.
Possess knowledge of Health and Safety standards including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) assessments.
Have experience in handling laundry services within public or care settings.
Show genuine compassion and dedication in delivering top-quality housekeeping and laundry care to residents.
Be adaptable and flexible to undertake various responsibilities on short notice.

Additional Information

This position requires a DBS Disclosure check, which will be funded by Avery Healthcare.
